Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What should I bring to class?

Just your lovely self! We’ve got mats, blocks, and other yoga goodies covered. If you’re attached to your own mat, feel free to bring it—ours may not be the fanciest, but hey, they’re colourful! Don’t forget a water bottle (your future self will thank you), and maybe a towel - especially if you plan to get extra sweaty with Ashtanga or Vinyasa.

What if I’m new to yoga?

No problem! Whether it’s Ashtanga, Vinyasa, or something else, we’ve got your back (literally). Our teachers will guide you at a pace that suits you, from your first shaky Downward Dog to a blissed-out Savasana. Check out our Teaching Approach for more deets.

What should I wear?

Anything you can stretch in without ripping! Leggings, shorts, comfy tees—it’s all good as long as you can move freely. Oh, and we’re a barefoot kind of place, so leave the fancy shoes at the door.

Do you offer refunds?

Refunds aren’t really our thing. But in rare cases (like a medical situation or an emergency - think “I can’t leave the house” level), we might be able to extend your membership or class pack. Check out our Refund Policy for all the nitty-gritty.

What happens if I need to cancel my private class?

Life happens! If you cancel more than 24 hours in advance, no worries, we’ll reschedule. But if you’re canceling with less than 24 hours' notice, we won’t be able to refund or reschedule unless it’s a real emergency. See our Cancellation Policy for the full scoop.

What if the school has to cancel my class?

It’s rare, but if we have to cancel (you know, life happens on our end too), we’ll reschedule you ASAP. Not feeling a stand-in teacher? We’ll figure out a solution that makes you happy. Promise.

Do I need to book in advance?

For group classes, you can just stroll in! For private sessions or workshops, though, you’ll want to book ahead - we don’t want you showing up and missing out!

How early should I arrive for class?

Arriving 5-10 minutes early gives you time to settle in, say hi to your teacher, and get into that zen zone. Plus, being early means you won’t miss any of the good stuff at the beginning of class!

And what if I'm late?

Hey, we get it—sometimes life moves faster than intended or traffic slower than we'd like. If you’re just a few minutes late, sneak in quietly, roll out your mat ninja-style, and join the group. If it’s more than 10 minutes and we’re already past the warm-up, it's your call:

  • You can jump in and go with the flow, just keep in mind your body might be a little stiff and less bendy than usual;

  • Or, do a few Sun Salutations on the side and join when you feel warmed up and ready to go (recommended).

  • Or of course, you can always skip class and try again next time!

For Mysore Style classes, feel free to arrive anytime—just adapt your practice to the schedule!

Do you have showers or changing rooms?

No showers here, but we do have coffee, tea, and our famous homemade vegan, sugar-free granola. So, you may leave a little sweaty, but you won’t leave hungry!

Can I bring a friend to class?

Of course! Yoga is way more fun with friends. Just have them arrive a bit early if it’s their first time.

Is yoga suitable for people with injuries?

Absolutely! Whether you’ve got a minor injury or something more serious, let us know before class, and our teachers will work with you to make sure you have a safe, supportive practice. We’ve got modifications for days!
